If you haven’t heard of Shelley Boris, you’ve been missing out on one of the most thoughtful and creative women in the food industry. She’s the executive chef of the Garrison Institute (where she even cooked for the Dalai Lama), she’s the author of Fresh Cooking, the owner of Fresh Company (a prestigious Hudson Valley caterer), and she’s now the owner of the fabulous new restaurant Dolly’s in Garrison, NY. As both an artist and chef, she exemplifies how a delicious recipe of grit and determination can open doors, and keep them open. Shelley shares her story and legacy recipe, and a cooking tip with author and chef Rozanne Gold.
